QUALIFICATIONS:

Colorado teaching license with an elementary endorsement required. Administrative license preferred.  Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education also required.* 

*Or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.

  Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

Adventure is seeking someone who is committed to coaching teachers, responsive to educational needs and flexible.

1.Effectively support teachers with the implementation of the district curriculum (EL Modules, K-6 Bridges math curriculum and all pre-school instruction.)  * Lead with motivation, flexibility, dedication, organization and creativity.  *  Work closely with teaching staff to analyze data and student work in order to plan instruction.  * Support instruction using grade level curriculum and differentiated instruction when applicable.  * Support the teacher observation and evaluation process (support the creation, implementation and critiquing of lessons.)  * Provide professional development for teachers.

 2.Administer and analyze a variety of educational assessments to inform instruction.  Interpret and explain data with staff, students and families.  Support district and state testing.

 

3.Model and support EL modules for classroom teachers.

 

4.Work with the EL network and the school designer to ensure implementation of EL model and instruction. 

 

5.Promote strong classroom management through the modeling and support of the implementation of EL Crew. 

 

6.Work with other in-district and out-of-district schools to gain instructional knowledge of curriculum, resources and the EL culture.

 

7.Attend leadership meetings, conferences, workshops, in-services, meetings or classes as needed to support the development of the school.

 

8.Work closely with administration to support instructional needs, promote EL practices and build community.

 

9.Promote and participate in the culture of the school.
