I am an unlicensed candidate, can I use the service?
Teachers-Teachers.com services private and public employers. If you are an uncertified/unlicensed candidate and hold a degree related to education, you are encouraged to register. Many private employers do not require teachers to hold a certification if they have a degree in the area they will be teaching. For example, an employer will consider hiring an individual with a degree in biology to teach a high school biology class.
In regards to public schools systems, each state has particular certification/licensure requirements for its teachers and related services personnel and each state/district will have different programs and requirements for those without degrees or certifications.
