Certification Tests
You have the opportunity to share information regarding the Certification/Licensure Tests you have taken and the scores you received. This will allow employers to search for candidates based on certification/licensure tests that are required for certain positions.

To add information regarding the certification/licensure tests you have taken, click "Add" to the right of the "Certification/Licensure Tests" heading. This will open a new screen with the certification test information fields.

To edit a previously entered certification test, click on the "Edit" link found to the right of the test you wish to make changes to. This will open a screen which lists your previously entered information. In order to update your account, you must complete any fields with an asterisk (*) next to the heading.

First, you will choose the certification/licensure test you have taken. Choose the title of the test from the dropdown to the right of the "Test Name" heading. You will highlight the test name and click the "Load Information" button located under the "other" text box. Where applicable, this will generate a dropdown list of "Subject/Content Specialty" associated with the test selected. You can choose more than one "Subject/Content Specialty" by holding the control key and left clicking on each subject area to highlight the subjects covered by this certification test.

If your certification area is not listed, you will choose "other" from the dropdown menu to the right of the "Test Name" heading. Click the "Load Information" button located under the "Other" text box. Type the certification/licensure test title in the text box to the right of the "other" heading. Type the subject/content specialty associated with this test in the text box under "Subject/Content Specialty" heading. You may type more than one subject/content specialty in this text box, but it is suggested that a comma or semi-colon is used to separate these subjects.

You will be asked to enter the date when this certification/licensure test was taken. Select the month and year from the dropdown menu to the right of the "Date Taken" heading.

You are also required to enter the state where this certification/licensure test was taken. Select the state from the dropdown menu to the right of the "State Taken" heading.

You have the option to enter your test score from this certification/licensure test. If you would like to share this information, type the score from this test in the text box to the right of the "Test Score" heading.

You are required to indicate whether you received a passing score on this test. Click either "Yes", "No", or "Waiting for Test Score" to the right of the "Did you receive a passing score?" heading.

After you have entered all this information, you have 2 options. If you have only one certification/licensure test to report, you would click "Save" at the bottom of the page. If you have other certification/licensure tests to report (such as Praxis 1 and Praxis 2), you would click "Save and Add Another" at the bottom of the page.

Complete these steps for each certification/licensure test you have taken. To update other areas of your "Application", use the "Edit Application" tab located direction under the "Application" field on the toolbar.
