Certification & Licensure
You will need to include your "Certification & Licensure" information immediately to give employers access to your application. If you are a new member to Teachers-Teachers.com, please follow the directions below. If you are a previous member who may have already entered information for your certifications, it WILL NOT allow employers to access your information based on certifications until you use the new "Certification & Licensure" fields.

For a current member to edit the existing "Certification & Licensure" information, click on the "Edit" link to the right of the State Name that you previously identified you were certified to work. This will open a screen which lists your current certification information. In order to update your account, you must complete any fields with an asterisk (*) next to the heading. You may also delete the entry by clicking on "Delete."

For new members to add an entry to the "Certification & Licensure" section, click "Add" to the right of the "Certification & Licensure" heading. This will open a new screen with the education information fields. You must complete any fields with an asterisk (*) next to the heading.

You will choose the state that issued your license/certification from the dropdown menu to the right of the "Issued by" heading. Highlight the state that issued your license/certification and click the "Load Information" button on the right. If you have chosen a state with which we have a mutual relationship, a list of license/certifications issued in those states will be automatically generated. This dropdown list will be to the right of the "Certificate/License" heading. You will highlight the license/certification you hold. If you choose other states, you will type the official title of your license/certification in the text box to the right of the "Certificate/License" heading.

Next, you will choose the endorsements you have received. Again, if you select a state with which we have a mutual relationship, a list of endorsement areas issued in those states will be automatically generated. This dropdown will be to the right of the "Endorsements/Subjects" heading. You will highlight your endorsements. You can choose more than one endorsement subject by holding the control key and left clicking on each endorsement area to highlight your chosen endorsement subjects. If your endorsement subject is not listed, you will type the endorsement title in the text box to the right of the "other" heading.

If you choose any other state, you will type the endorsement title in the text box to the right of the "Endorsements/Subjects" heading. You may type more than one endorsement in this text box, but it is suggested that a comma or semi-colon is used to separate these endorsements.

You have the option to enter your certification/licensure number. If you would like to share this information, type the number of your certification/license in the text box to the right of the "Certification/Licensure Number" heading.

You must enter the date this certification/license was issued or the date you anticipate this certification/license will be issued. Select the month and year from the dropdown menus to the right of the "Issued Date" heading.

You must enter the date this certification/license will expire or the date you anticipate this certification/license will expire. Select the month and year from the dropdown menus to the right of the "Expiration Date" heading.

If you have not received your certification/license, you have the option to enter the date you applied for certification/licensure. If you would like to share this information, select the month and year from the dropdown menus to the right of the "Date Applied" heading.

You have the option to enter a description of your certification/license area. If you would like to share this information, type the description in the text box to the right of the "Certification/Licensure Description" heading.

Next, you must select the subjects that this certification/license entitles you to teach. The subject areas are categorized and alphabetized by broad subject types (such as "Languages" or "Special Education"). Specific position areas are arranged within these broad subject areas ("Spanish" will be found under "Languages" or "Behavioral Specialist" will be found under "Special Education"). Scroll down and select all subject areas this certification/license entitles you to teach by checking the box to the left of each specific position areas. You may select more than one.

After you have entered all this information, you have two options. If you have only one certification/license to report, you would click "Save" at the bottom of the page. If you have other certifications/licenses to report (such as certification in several states), you would click "Save and Add Another" at the bottom of the page.

Complete these steps for each certification/license you have obtained or are in the process of obtaining. To update other areas of your "Application", use the "Edit Application" tab located direction under the "Application" field on the toolbar.
