Description
Summit Academy High School, a highly rigorous 9-12 public charter school, has an opening for a full-time high school Social StudiesTeacher to begin August 2024. The role of the Teacher is to provide students with differentiated instruction to meet their individual needs and state curriculum standards.
Planning and Preparation • Learns the curriculum in its entirety • Demonstrates knowledge of the Utah Core standards and how it aligns with the curriculum
Instruction and Student Achievement • Sets and enforces deadlines for student work • Evaluates student work and maintain grade book • Differentiates instruction and provides relentless support that leads to student achievement • Tracks students’ progress, achievement and attendance • Completes Quarterly Progress Reports for students on case load
