Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 1), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Special Education (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
Description
Job Responsibilities: 1. Implements the assigned program of study (Math Essentials, Secondary Math III, Pre-Calc, College Prep Algebra). 2. Fosters a classroom climate conducive to learning. 3. Utilizes instructional management systems that increase student learning and maximize time on task. 4. Develops and implements Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school policy. 5. Monitor student progress towards achieving instructional objectives and goals on the IEPs. 6. Communicates effectively within the educational community and with parents on a regular basis. 7. Meets professional responsibilities. 8. Maintains and upgrades professional skills. 9. Maintains professional work habits. 10. Promotes and maintains positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships. 11. Adheres to the teacher code of conduct. 12. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Principal and the Academic Director
