Description
South Summit School District is seeking applicants for substitute Bus Drivers. Drivers will be called on an “as needed” basis for both regular student routes and activity runs for classes, athletic teams, and academic groups. Substitute drivers will be trained and have the opportunity to advance to a full-time, benefited position as they become available. Salary will be based on the 2023-2024 Classified Salary Schedule and will receive no benefits. Qualified applicants must have a valid Utah Driver License, good driving record, the ability to follow rules and procedures, and a love of children. Applicants must also be able to pass a current DOT physical and pre-employment drug test. Required training and certification, including CDL training, will be provided and paid for by the District. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
