South Summit School District is seeking applicants for a part-time SUBSTITUTE CTE Shuttle Van and/or Bus Driver depending on the number of enrolled students. Position will be as needed with no benefits. Salary will be based on the 2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule Qualified applicants will use a district van and/or bus to transport students to and from Wasatch West and UVU Wasatch Campus for MTECH and UVU Courses. The driver will be required to complete Utah Risk Management driver safety course. Position requires a high school diploma and current driver license. Applicant must have positive, compassionate attitude and maintain good relationships with staff, students, and parents. Qualified applicants must have or obtain a valid Utah CDL with a Class B endorsement, passenger endorsement, air brakes endorsement, and school bus endorsement. Qualified applicants must also be current with all training and recertification as required by USOE. Applicants must have a good driving record, the ability to pass a physical and drug assessment, and a love of children. Applicants must also be able to pass a current DOT physical check. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
