Boys Basketball Assistant II (Freshman)

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of Basketball skills and strategies.
- Experience coaching and/or playing Basketball.
- Willingness to work with High School students.
- Basic knowledge of first aid.
- Ability to interact with students to encourage each individual to perform at their highest level.

RESPONSIBILITES:

- Assists Head Coach with duties as needed.  May have overall responsibility for a sub/related program (Freshman team, for example).
- Attends and assists with all practices and games/contests/competitions per the direction of the Head Coach or Assistant I.
- May work with groups of students independently but does not generally have independent planning or supervision responsibilities.
- Same time commitment as Assistant I, but less responsibility.
- Off-season expectations including strength training and conditioning, league participation of players, team meetings, travel to tournaments, practices, etc.
