Description
NPS is currently accepting applications for the position of Teacher for Racer Kid Zone program/Teacher Assistant for the Early Childhood Center. The Kid Zone program provides child care services for school age students before/after school, on Fridays, and during holiday and summer breaks. This position will perform duties under the supervision of the program director and staff in charge to help plan and carry out a daily program designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of a group of children. The Teacher Assistant portion of this job will be under the supervision of an ECC Teacher in a classroom setting. This person must be able to work collaboratively with other staff assisting in the classroom, be sensitive to the needs of individual children and relate well to both the children and adults. This position is a full-year, full-time position (30 hours per week) with standard benefits (including health insurance) and leave. Applicants must be available to work before/after school, on Fridays, and during holiday and summer breaks.
