Description
Mountain West Montessori Academy, a free public charter school located in South Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for an Upper Elementary Teacher (4th–6th) for the upcoming school year.
Mountain West Montessori Academy will provide student-centered, individualized education, based on Montessori philosophy and research-based best practices. The educational program will focus on interdisciplinary connections and hands-on learning experiences.
In support of this mission, preference may be given to candidates who have previous Montessori teaching experience, hold Montessori certification, and/or are willing to undergo training to become Montessori certified. Experience working with an assistant teacher is also preferred.
