Clerk
Purpose Statement:
The Clerk works closely with curriculum and instruction staff to ensure that curriculum materials are current, accessible, and effectively utilized to enhance the educational experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting educational excellence.
The Clerk is responsible for managing building space reservations and event logistics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher in education, preferred
Fingerprint clearance card
Experience in an educational setting or in a clerical role involving inventory management or event coordination, preferred
Proficiency with google suite (gmail, calendar, docs, sheets, forms)
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn the use of Resource Management Systems
Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. A strong commitment to supporting educational initiatives and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
Essential Functions:
Catalog, distribute and store curriculum materials, including textbooks, student workbooks, kits, and supplementary teaching aids.
Use Resource Management System to maintain an up-to-date inventory of all curriculum resources, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and to identify needs for replenishment or updating.
Maintain building space reservation schedule
Provide logistics support for events
Provide clerical support as needed
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Other duties as assigned
Supervision: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
Salary: Classified Salary Schedule, Full Benefits, 12 months
