Elementary Teacher for Multi-Grade Level Classroom
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Elementary (APT only) (Level 1), Elementary (APT only) (Level 2), Elementary (APT only) (Level 3), Elementary (APT only) (ARL), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 1), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 2), Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 3), Elementary Education (1-8) (ARL), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 1), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 2), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 3), Elementary Education (K-6) (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Elementary Teacher, Montessori Early Childhood (3-6 years), Montessori Elementary I (6-9 years), Montessori Elementary II (9-12 years), Montessori Infant/Toddler (Birth-3 years), Montessori Secondary I (12-15 years), Montessori Secondary II (15-18 years).
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
The license status must be active.

Ignite Entrepreneurship Academy is excited to welcome a new lead classroom teacher to our team! Our innovative approach to teaching is grounded in a self-directed learning model that promotes personalized learning and a child-centered approach. IEA uses three essential pillars of learning and teaching to accomplish this task, which include the Montessori methodology, blended learning, and project-based learning. At Ignite Academy, we believe that students in the 21st century require an expanded skill set beyond acquiring knowledge that will prepare them to operate within new, innovative companies or pursue their own entrepreneurial opportunities. We are seeking experienced and innovative classroom teachers, particularly in grades K-3, who are excited to work in a unique charter school environment and who have at their core a deep appreciation for elementary students. We expect our teachers to be leaders and to play an active role in realizing the school’s mission by building and shaping our school culture. IEA teachers will implement a high-quality, rigorous academic program that includes the Montessori methodology, blended learning, and the development of project-based, interdisciplinary units that lead students to demonstrate their understanding creatively and in a hands-on manner.
