Hawthorn Academy, a free charter school located in South Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for a full-time Resource Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
Resource Teachers are responsible for managing a caseload of students who receive special education services which includes: • Keeping special education files up to date and in compliance with State and Federal laws. • Manage and provide services to students on caseload. • Oversee paraeducators that assist with providing services to students. • Work together and communicate with faculty and staff members regarding special education students and services in addition to attending department and school wide meetings. • Advocate for students who receive special education services.
