Elevated Charter School, an online K-12 charter school, is now accepting applications for K-6 part-time Elevated Teaching Assistants to start July 29,2024.

The Mission of Elevated Charter School is to develop initiative, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking to create lifelong learners who are empowered for Life Elevated as they move onto college, career, and citizenship. What You Will Get to Do: Provide supervision and instruction at in-person Friday FunDays, including Field trips and drop in thematic classes, in the assigned region. Collaborate with Elevated Director, Teachers, and other staff in planning drop in classes and field trip activities. Substitute teach and/or provide academic support live online, as needed, during school hours, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-2:00pm Attend Zoom staff meetings, as assigned by Director Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements: Ability to work well with a diverse population, promoting kindness and respect. Experience supervising groups up to 25 in grades K-6 (ages 5-11) Elementary teaching experience, preferred (can be in private organizations) Well-organized in time management and activity coordination Strong sense of ethics and integrity Cleared background check

Compensation $18 per hour Mileage stipend for travel over 50 miles
