The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Position Overview: American Leadership Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated First Grade Dual Immersion Teacher (English) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive educational experiences, fostering character development through leadership, and promoting individualized student learning for college and career readiness. Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in English Language Arts aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and leadership skills. Collaborate with colleagues in the Dual Immersion program, including Spanish-speaking teachers, to ensure cohesive and coordinated instruction across languages. Foster a culture of accountability and personal responsibility among students and colleagues, in alignment with the school’s mission and vision. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends in Dual Immersion instruction. Actively engage in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the school.
