2024-2025 SPED Director
Must hold a license issued by any agency.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Autism, Deaf-Blind, Early Intervention Specialist, Educational Diagnostician, Emotional Behavior Disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Severe/Profound Disabilities, Special Education (General), Traumatic Brain Injury, Visual Impairment.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program. Expired certifications will be considered.
Description
Advantage Arts Academy, a free public charter school for grades K-6, located in Herriman, Utah, opened in August 2018. The school is now accepting applications for a SPED Director to start in the upcoming school year.
The mission of Advantage Arts Academy is to provide students with quality instruction that emphasizes the four components of the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program.
The vision of Advantage Arts Academy (“AAA”), in alignment with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (“BTSALP”), is to effectively increase our students’ performance in every subject, as well as improve students’ social skills, emotional well-being, arts awareness, and core academic capacity.
