Park County School District Re 2 is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, located in the old mining town of Fairplay, CO, at 10,000 feet. Elk, deer, antelope, and moose are abundant. Hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing are only a few of the activities in our area. Breckenridge Ski area is 23 miles from Fairplay.
Our campus is home to Edith Teter Elementary Preschool, Edith Teter Elementary, South Park Middle, and High School. Home of the Burros! Students attend our school from Alma, Como, Jefferson, Hartsel, Guffey, Lake George, and Fairplay. Our students and staff enjoy a four-day school week, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 - 4:30. Currently, PCSD Re 2 is hiring qualified Substitutes. The daily rate for substitutes is $120.00
