Teachers-Teachers.com is dedicated to the privacy of its users.
Our intention is to provide a secure and safe environment for
both schools and teachers. The following statement outlines
the policies by which Teachers-Teachers.com collects, manages,
and uses the data provided to us by users. Use of the
Teachers-Teachers.com site indicates you have read these
policies and agree to abide by them.
Information Collection
The information collected and stored by Teachers-Teachers.com
will be stored on machines within the United States of America.
If you are outside of the United States and its territories and
holdings, your use of the Teachers-Teachers.com site amounts to
consent to the transfer of information into the United States.
Teacher Information Collection
To serve its teacher members as best as possible,
Teachers-Teachers.com makes mandatory the following information
from teachers: first and last name, address, city, state, zip
code, email address, home phone number, resident/VISA status;
and preferred teaching subject areas, teaching states, school
types, and willingness to teach overseas.
The following areas are optional: colleges and universities
attended, degrees earned, and dates of attendance; teacher
certification states and subject areas; previous teaching
experience; related teaching experiences; reference information;
current employer's zip code (for more information on this
option, see Site Information).
The omission or deletion of the optional teacher areas has no
effect on the general methods the Teachers-Teachers.com site
returns information to school accounts. It is within the
discretion of each individual school account as to take into
advisement the omission of such data when reviewing resumes for
an open position.
School Information Collection
To serve its school members as best as possible,
Teachers-Teachers.com makes mandatory the following information
from schools: school/district name, address, city, state, and
zip code; school type; first and last name, position, phone
number, email address of the main contact for the school
account; number of schools the account will serve; purchase
order number for account billing purposes.
The following areas are optional: school web site address,
school mission statement/philosophy, description of school
system, and general school neighborhood; contact fax number.
The omission or deletion of the optional school areas has no
effect on the general methods the Teachers-Teachers.com site
returns information to teacher accounts. It is within the
discretion of each individual teacher's account preferences as
to take into advisement the omission of such data.
Information Access
During the sign-up process, users will be asked to specify a
unique username and corresponding password. Through this
username/password combination, users may access their account
and use the site.
Teacher access to school data
Teacher accounts will be allowed to view only the following
information about schools: school district name, contact name,
contact email address, and, if provided, school web site
address, statement/philosophy, description of school system,
and general school neighborhood.
School access to teacher data
Schools will be allowed access to most of the information
provided by teachers; the exception to this access are if the
zip code of the school account matches up with the blocked zip
code within a specific teacher account, in which case that
school will have no access to any information within that
account, or any knowledge that the account even exists.
Anonymous free preview access
Anonymous Internet visitors performing a free preview will have
limited access to a teacher's resume. To protect teacher
privacy, the last name, phone number, email address, postal
address and reference contact phone numbers will be hidden
during the free preview process.
Aggregate Use of Collected Information
Aggregate statistics are collected regularly, including, but not
limited to, the number of users during a specific period, the
preferred subjects and/or states chosen by teachers, and account
usage. No outside group or entity with which
Teachers-Teachers.com shares this aggregate data will have
access to any data within a specific teacher or school account.
Specific Use of Collected Information
In an effort to maximize user experience, and to maximize the
speed and efficiency of its service, Teachers-Teachers.com may
keep track of user frequency, habits, preferences and settings.
Access to this information is strictly limited to
Teachers-Teachers.com and its employees. Any data which is
shared outside of Teachers-Teachers.com and its affiliates is
done so only in aggregate form as described in the previous
section.
Only direct employees and programmers within the
Teachers-Teachers.com staff will have access to provided account
information, access which includes, but is not limited to, the
access to modify and or delete information as needed to maintain
the integrity of the user database.
Information such as user IP address, internet service
provider (ISP), web browser, operating system, approximate times
of use, referring site, and any similar data exchanged between a
user's computer and the servers of Teachers-Teachers.com is
collected on an aggregate basis, and, unless initiated by a
specific user account, no method exists to tie this information
to a particular user account. This information is accessible
only to the systems administrators within Teachers-Teachers.com
and is used to ensure the broadest sense of compatibility and
connectivity between users and the Teachers-Teachers.com site.
Site Security
Teachers-Teachers.com has implemented and continues to maintain
appropriate technical and management measures to keep your
personal information secure and safe from loss, damage,
corruption, or deletion. Nevertheless, we are unable to
guarantee that these implementations will not at some time be
compromised by malicious third parties.
Account Inactivity
Each teacher account on Teachers-Teachers.com has the option of
making their account inactive. This option removes the majority
of the features from the account, until it is made active again.
During the reactivation process, you will be required to verify
your email address with the service.
Account Deletion
Should you choose to delete your account completely, please
contact the proper account representative listed in the Contact
section of this policy.
Validity of User Information
Teachers-Teachers.com exists as a medium between hiring schools
and prospective teachers. While we routinely inspect the
database to ensure its integrity, Teachers-Teachers.com makes no
promise as to the validity and truthfulness of any information
entered and saved by teachers and schools.
Scope of Involvement
Teachers-Teachers.com is meant as a convenient and efficient
tool for teachers and schools to contact one another. Should
you need additional help filling your school positions, please
contact the schools account representatives at
schools@teachers-teachers.com or using one of the contact
methods listed at the end of this agreement.
Links to Third-Party Websites
Certain areas of the Teachers-Teachers.com website may contain
links to third-party websites. Teachers-Teachers.com is not
responsible for the content, actions and policies of these
third-party websites. Any such links, including those provided
and actively maintained by Teachers-Teachers.com, are not
covered under the policies of this document. For more
information on the data collection and usage agreement of these

Changes Within This Privacy Policy
Any and all changes to this privacy policy will be posted here
as soon as these changes take effect. If you have any questions
