Membership Agreement Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. provides a forum where individuals seeking employment opportunities can list their qualifications and experience and review job postings from employers. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions in regards to your use of the services provided by Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. In order to participate in this service, you must accept the following terms and conditions: - I will supply only truthful information when completing my application and corresponding to employers. If it is found that any information I have supplied is not accurate, I understand that my application will be immediately removed from the website and those employers with whom I have corresponded will be notified. - I will notify Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc., within five (5) business days, when I accept a contract for employment with an employer whether the contract is obtained through the use of Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. or through any other job search efforts. I will do this by completing the "I Got Hired" section of the website. - I understand that by completing my application I am not automatically applying to all employers using Teachers-Teachers.com. - I understand that in order to protect my privacy my street address, phone number, and phone numbers for my references will only be shown to employers to whom I have emailed my application. - I understand that I have the option to hide my application either from employers within a certain zip code or from all employers. This action will cause my application to be hidden from employers when they conduct searches. - I understand that after I submit my Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. application to an employer, they may require me to complete an additional application. - I understand that Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. does not screen or inspect any of the employers that are listed on its website. Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. will inform me of all amendments and if I do not want to accept these amendments, I have the option of canceling my membership. - This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York without the application of its conflicts of laws principles. Teachers-Teachers.com also offers candidates the option of submitting additional information including, but not limited to, work experience, extracurricular interests and reference information. Although Teachers-Teachers.com does not require candidates to complete these additional fields, employers do have the option to require candidates to complete some or all of them. Before a candidate can apply to such an employer, the candidate must complete all fields required by the employer. Candidates have the option to hide their application either from employers within a certain zip code or from all employers using the service. If a candidate chooses to hide their application they will continue to receive postings that match their qualifications and preferences but their information will not be shown to employers conducting searches. Employer Information Collection In order to participate in our service, employers are required to submit the following information: - Employer Information: employer name, address, type, neighborhood type and number of locations. - User Personal Information: first name, last name, position, phone number and email address. - Billing Information: purchase order number or credit card. The following information is not required but may be submitted at the option of the employer: website address, mission statement/philosophy, description of system, and fax number. The omission or deletion of the optional employer information has no effect on the general methods by which Teachers-Teachers.com returns information to candidate members. It is within the discretion of each individual candidate member to decide what significance, if any, to attach to the omission of such information. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Information Access ---------------------------------------------------------------------- During the sign-up process, both candidate and employer members are asked to specify a unique username and password. Through this username/password combination, members may access their accounts and use the website. Candidate access to employer and user's personal information Candidates will be allowed to view the following information for employers: employer name, type, neighborhood type, user's first and last name, and if provided, website address, mission statement/philosophy, and description of system. In an effort to encourage candidates to only contact the user through Teachers-Teachers.com, the user's phone number and email address are not provided to the candidate. Employer access to candidate's personal information Employers will be allowed to view candidate's personal information, including candidate's name and city/state of residence, provided access has been granted by candidate. To protect the candidates' privacy, employers are not provided with the candidate's phone number, email address or street address until the candidate emails the employer. Non-member free preview access Non-members performing a free preview of Teachers-Teachers.com are given limited access to candidates' information. To protect candidates' privacy, candidates' names are hidden during the free preview process. Legal investigations and process Teachers-Teachers.com, Inc. will disclose information furnished by candidates or employers as appropriate in our judgment to respond to subpoenas, court orders or other legal process or to establish our legal rights or defend claims against us.
