Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: School Psychologist (K-12) (Level 1), School Psychologist (K-12) (Level 2), School Psychologist (K-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Autism, Deaf-Blind, Educational Diagnostician, Emotional Behavior Disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Severe/Profound Disabilities, Special Education (General), Traumatic Brain Injury, Visual Impairment, School Psychologist.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, Two-Year College, Four-Year College.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

We are looking for one full-time school psychologist for our Pleasant Grove campus. Our staff works 186 days per year, with additional opportunities over the summer. Description of Responsibilities: Conducts psychological assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students in accordance with family and student rights, for the purpose of recommending courses of action or corrective procedures to maximize learning and overcoming psychological issues Assists with the identification and placement of all types of exceptional students Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff members to ascertain individual student's abilities and needs, including students with special needs, and to familiarize stakeholders with psychological services Attends IEP meetings as needed for students with special needs Assists with the 504 Team Attends Child Study Team (CST) meetings as needed Addresses the needs of the school, student, families, and community by collaborating with Related Services Team and other staff to design a holistic approach to address barriers or problems with the educational process Provides direct support services to students, classrooms, and small groups that are comprehensive and data-driven Completes written reports as requested by the Student Services Coordinator or School Director, that are in compliance with Federal, State, and Local Agencies Maintains accurate case records and documentation Maintains current knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and abides by said laws and regulations with emphasis on persons with disabilities, child welfare, mental health, confidentiality, and student and parent rights Develops and provides professional development workshops as requested by the Student Services Coordinator Participates in family educational opportunities, including but not limited to Parent Empowerment Nights Adheres to and supports Board policy, school guidelines, and administrative rules and directives Conducts career and educational planning activities Participates in in-service activities and staff meetings promoted by the school Performs other duties as assigned by the Related Services Director
