Maria Montessori Academy, located in North Ogden, Utah, is accepting applications for a Kitchen Manager.
The mission of Maria Montessori Academy is to provide an individualized Pre-K through Grade 8 education that promotes academic excellence founded on the authentic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. MMA will craft each child’s education in partnership with educators and parents to achieve higher levels of academic, personal and social achievement, thereby preparing students to become constructive contributors to their community.
The main purpose is to lead the kitchen staff in performing all food preparation and serving activities in a timely, sanitary and orderly manner. Oversees and helps kitchen staff prepare a variety of food items for daily lunch program. Oversees cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen equipment. Follows strict hygiene practices for themselves and the entire kitchen staff. Must be capable of consistent physical activity (lifting and moving up to 50 pounds). Must be able to write, type, and comprehend all information needed to complete daily tasks.
