Must hold a certificate issued by Florida Department of Education.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Professional Certificate, Statement of Status of Eligibility.
The certificate status must be active.

Seeking a highly-qualified, certified ESE Specialist to join the dynamic team at Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines K-12 Campus. As a school we pride ourselves on having high standards as professionals as well as support our students through the learning process.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:T
-Plan and develop programs for students with special needs -Coordinate ESE Programs -Attends all professional development -Serve as ESE liaison with the school district -Coordinates referrals, IEP, EP and 504 Meetings -Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws -Schedules and facilitates the development of IEP and 504 -Assumes the responsibility for the pre-referral process in the school -Other duties as directed
