Must hold a certificate issued by Florida Department of Education.
The certificate must be in Professional Certificate.
The certificate position area must be in English as a Second Language (EFL/ELL/ESL/ESOL).
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th.
The certificate status must be active.

Seeking a highly-qualified, certified educator to join the dynamic team at Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines K-8 Campus. We are a high-performing, A-rated charter school serving students in grades K-8. We are also an International Baccalaureate World School for our Middle Years Programme (middle school).
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
-Lead implementation of the ESOL Program in accordance with the Florida META Consent Decree; -Support student achievement through ELL student assessment and placement; -Support student achievement through lesson modeling and instructional coaching. -Provide literacy and language development presentations for teachers of ELL students through faculty meetings -Assist administrators, teachers, guidance staff, registrars, and data processors for compliance with district, state, and federal program requirements.
Applicants must be global thinkers and able to coordinate implementation of the International Baccalaureate Language Policy.
Position is an interim position with opportunity for permanent hire.
