Description
Tasks: One-on-one support for special needs children who attend the CARE afterschool program.
Desired Skills and Experience: Skill in safely lifting, moving and working with special needs students. Skill in using specialized tools such as adaptive computer software, adaptive therapy equipment and augmentative communication devices. Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, administrators, students and parents. Associates degree and six months of working with special needs children preferred.
